Applying for a new job is a big step, especially when you're looking for more than just "a job." Maybe you’re a seasoned software engineer, a project manager with a vision, or simply someone seeking work that finally feels meaningful. Wherever you are in your journey, the search itself can feel overwhelming, uncertain, and at times, deeply personal.

Whether you’re aiming for a dev role, a PM position, or something else, here is a transparent look at our interview process and what you can expect at each step of the interview process at WIARA:

Step 1: Application Review

We carefully review every application to see whether your background aligns with our current needs. If we feel there’s a strong match, we’ll move forward. If not, we may not reach out simply because we want to respect your time and avoid unnecessary back-and-forth when the timing isn’t right.


Step 2: Short Questionnaire & Intro Materials

If your profile looks like a good fit, we’ll get in touch and send you:
• a short set of written questions
• a brief intro about WIARA and what we do
• links to blog posts and resources to help you understand our culture and team

This gives us a glimpse beyond your resume — your voice, thought process, and motivation.

Step 3: Short Call with Our HR (Magi here 👋)

Next, we’ll schedule a short call to connect in real time. This is not a test. It’s a conversation. We’ll talk about your experience, goals, the role you’ve applied for, and answer any initial questions you have. Part of the conversation may be in English, so we’ll briefly check your comfort with it in our working environment. This step is meant to keep things human, smooth, and grounded.


Step 4: Technical Interview with our Founder

This is the place where we go deeper. You’ll speak directly with the founder of WIARA - the person who not only leads the company but is also actively involved in building the team. This conversation focuses on your experience and thought process. No take-home tasks. No artificial assessments. Just a real, two-way conversation.
For developers, we might discuss code architecture, decisions you've made, or challenges you’ve faced. For PMs, it may involve team dynamics, scope management, or decision-making in action. We tailor the conversation to the role, keeping it practical, honest, and open.


Step 5: Feedback or Offer

After your interview, we take time to reflect. Within a few days (usually within 1–2 weeks) you will receive:
• a job offer 🎉
• or a kind “not this time” reply with constructive feedback

Regardless of the outcome, we always close the loop - no ghosting, no silence. Just clarity. The way it should be.

Bonus Step: What to Expect on Your First Day 🌟

If you've received an offer for the role and decide to join us, first of all, congratulations and welcome on board! On your very first day, you’ll receive an official onboarding invitation from me with all the key information you need to get started smoothly.

Then we will walk you through all the essential technical setups (like access credentials, tools, and communication channels), help you with any registrations or system logins, and make sure you have the support you need from the very beginning of your WIARA journey.

And although we’re fully remote, you’ll be invited to meet your new team online, say "hi" to your new colleagues, and get a sense of who’s who in the WIARA universe.

So we will be there for you, not just at the start, but throughout your whole journey.
